There’s an echo in my heart
An innate sense of loneliness bellowing in the quiet corridors of my being, my soul.
As introverted as I may be,
As much as I enjoy lone time,Sometimes it seems that we all need company. To be seen, to be heard.
We crave human connection.To listen to others, empathise with them.
So often, I offer my ears in service but it turns out that sometimes like today I just need to be listened to.
